We are honoured to have had Babcock’s own, Joanne Skinner, Director, Supply Chain & ILS, selected as one of Esprit de Corps Military Magazine’s 2024 Top 20 Women in Defence!
Joanne has worn many hats throughout her career which has encompassed the Royal Australian Navy, along with public and private sector roles in Australia, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. An advocate for greater inclusion of women, Joanne has advanced women’s representation in Program and Project Management roles, led the development and implementation of national employment and education programs supporting women, and worked with community led groups aiding disadvantaged women.
An advocate and an ally, Joanne has significantly impacted the lives of many women worldwide in and outside of the defence industry.
