Babcock is delighted to announce that it has partnered once again with the Women in Defence and Security (WiDS) Association to support the Annual WiDS Awards Breakfast taking place on Thursday March 2nd. The event will be hosted at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, as well as broadcasted virtually for all participants who can’t attend in-person.
The Annual Awards Breakfast brings together many individuals from across the defence and security sector to connect, reflect, and celebrate our collective progress in creating a diverse and inclusive community. WiDS will also be awarding two $10,000 scholarships, as well as the WiDS & Canadian Global Affairs Institute Fellowship. Both the scholarship and the fellowship are handed out annually in recognition of outstanding students pursuing higher education related to Canada’s defence and security sectors.
Babcock is committed to creating an agile, people-centered business where everyone is included, supported, and empowered to unlock their full potential. Babcock recognizes and understands that to remain in the forefront of the defence and security sector, organizations must create and capitalize on the talents of a diverse and inclusive community.
