Jason Young is Vice President of Marine and Mission Systems at Babcock Canada, leading the company’s delivery of submarine sustainment and marine products portfolio. In addition, he, oversees engineering performance, major program execution, operational risk, and customer outcomes across one of Canada’s most complex defence programs.

Jason holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Victoria and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership from Royal Roads University. Prior to joining Babcock, he worked in the nuclear power sector with Ontario Power Generation supporting reactor systems, outage execution, and equipment reliability programs.

With over 15 years of experience across defence, marine, aerospace, and nuclear sectors, Jason is known for stabilizing complex programs and improving performance in highly regulated, safety-critical environments.
