Joint Support Ship Magazine Racks

In 2022, Vancouver Shipyards (VSY) contracted Babcock to design and build magazine racks on Canada’s new Joint Support Ships (JSS).

Part of the National Shipbuilding Strategy, the JSS project will deliver the Royal Canadian Navy two new ships, with the first vessel expected in 2027. Babcock’s manufacturing of the Magazine Racks will support onboard munitions, carrying various types of missiles and torpedoes.
