General Logistics Vehicle Display:

This year, we are delighted to be showcasing Babcock’s General Logistics Vehicle (GLV) at our CANSEC booth.

Babcock’s GLV can fulfill a multitude of tasks for the Canadian military and militaries worldwide. Replacing the Land Rover Defender, the vehicle is based upon the Toyota Land Cruiser but with significant re-build and enhancements.

The GLV series offers a common vehicle base with various role modules to meet the needs of different missions in evolving operation theatres. It prioritizes operational effectiveness while maintaining passenger comfort and ease of operation by value-engineering specifications that provide optimum functionality.

Through our significant and unique experience with equipment support, asset management, and the latest land technologies, we ensure that critical vehicles are readily available, affordable and future-proofed, and that the GLV’s through-life costs are kept to a minimum.

The GLV has officially arrived on Canadian soil for the first time in Babcock history! To learn more or for a tour of the vehicle, be sure to stop by the Babcock booth, booth #113.

Industrial and Technological Benefits Partners:

From coast-to-coast, Babcock has proudly invested in and continues to invest in several small and medium-sized Canadian companies as part of Canada’s Industrial Technological Benefits (ITB) policy.

We are delighted to showcase several ITB Partners at the Babcock booth. Be sure to stop by booth #113, to learn more about each company and the work we do together to leverage the Canadian defence industry!
