Babcock to present at the Association of British Columbia Marine Industries’ Business Opportunities Conference

Babcock is proud to announce that we will be presenting at ABCMI’s Business Opportunity Conference. The event will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre on November 14th, 2019.

The day long conference will consist of speakers from the government as well as marine industry stakeholders. The event will feature a variety of panels covering topics such as marine innovation, export services and support, marine infrastructure and port interface opportunities, new vessel construction and acquisition needs, and winning business with large and prime contractors.

Matthew Crawley, Vice President of Commercial for Babcock Canada, will be participating in the opening panel discussion. Through his presentation, Matthew will be overviewing the current work that Babcock is doing in British Columbia as well as how suppliers can help support these projects.

At the conference, there will also be supply chain specialists from Babcock that can engage directly with SMEs on opportunities to establish partnerships with more west coast organizations.
