Babcock developed BITE as a ‘safe-to-try’ and ‘train-to-win’ environment, preparing and testing trainees in the most demanding circumstances, while also providing an entirely controlled, low-risk training solution. The system promotes problem-solving and procedural development through its ability to easily pause and repeat training while ensuring each scenario is unique.

BITE replicates real-time, operationally accurate scenarios, such as realistic frontline battle experiences, with tailored soundscapes, seismic simulation, climate control, generated aromas, and visual stimuli to prepare users for the physical and cognitive stresses of real-life operations – all while sensors monitor biometrics to assess trainee performance.
