We are excited to announce that Babcock will be presenting several technical papers at this year’s Mari- Tech Conference and Exhibition 2022. The event will take place in Niagara Falls from May 17th – 19th. Presented by the Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering (CIMarE), Mari-Tech is the premier marine engineering conference in Canada. The annual Mari-Tech Conference brings together industry leaders, government policy makers, academics, innovators, and the next generation of marine engineers.
This year’s theme “Making Waves” showcases the groundbreaking technological advancements being made in the marine industry. With many networking opportunities for public and private sector professionals, the brightest minds in the marine sector join to further innovation and growth in the marine industry.

Babcock is excited to announce that Cameron Dalzell, Mechanical Engineer, will be a featured speaker at this year’s Mari-Tech Conference and Exhibition.
Cameron Dalzell has worked in Babcock’s Systems Integration, Design Agency, and Design & Systems Engineering departments. During his presentation he will discuss an integrated digital twin solution for the Victoria Class Submarines that can account for the differing heat loads transmitted through both the fluid systems along with the compartments and ventilation system using a software-based engineering modelling tool.
