CADSI SME Day 2019

Babcock is pleased to announce that it will be taking part in the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries’ 11th annual SME Day as an OEM Industry Buyer. Our supply chain specialists from both the marine and aviation sectors will be on hand to meet with and answer supplier questions throughout the conference.

The event will take place this year on the 16th of October at the Shaw Centre in Ottawa’s downtown core. SME Day will consist of a morning conference intended to guide SMEs towards government and NGO programs to assist in their business development goals. It will also provide guidance on industry best practices on how to get aligned with OEM’s upcoming projects. The afternoon will be a hub of activity with Industry Buyers, including representatives from the Babcock supply chain team, meeting with SMEs in one-on-one 15 minute speed meetings through CADSI’s newly branded B2B/G program entitled “Supply Chain Connect.”
