Babcock Achieves a New Milestone with the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business

Babcock Canada (Babcock) is delighted to announce that it has now transitioned to Phase III of the three-phase PAR “Committed” process of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business’ (CCAB) Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) certification program.

Babcock made the commitment to begin the process of achieving the PAR certification in 2019, with the aligned goal of the CCAB which is to “foster sustainable business relations between First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples and Canadian Businesses.” Adopting the PAR certification program as a Reconciliation Framework will help ensure Babcock’s relationships with Indigenous Peoples, communities, and businesses are based on mutual respect and meaningful benefits.

Babcock Canada believes in the importance of supporting people in the communities in which we live and work, and we are eager to continue implementing several initiatives as we continue to move forward in the PAR certification process.
