2022 Mari-Tech Featured Speaker

Babcock is pleased to announce that Cody Lyster, Chief Engineer- Ship Design, will be a featured speaker at the 2022 Mari-Tech Conference and Exhibition on May 18th in Niagara Falls.

Cody Lyster has over 25 years of experience as a naval architect with the majority of his work focusing on the ship design of icebreakers, military vessels and other special purpose ships. During his presentation he will be discussing the importance of reducing the carbon footprint from commercial shipping vessels through a methodology for selecting the most suitable energy saving features that are directly applicable to vessels that operate at a range of speeds and in a variety of climatic conditions.
